    Joe Wood Coning Tool Question

    You don't have to. A lot easier to mess it up if you don't, but you don't have too. You can hang the gun with the barrel vertical keep things straight. You need to be able to rotate the barrel as you work so you don't take more off one side than the other.

    Final Barrel Oil Finishes

    You can oil it real heavy wrap it with paper towels to keep the oil off every thing else and set it in a hot car for a day. I did that to my small parts and tomorrow will be doing the barrel.

    I would remove the humidifier, You will end up with to much water in the air. move the light to the bottom and just use a wet towel or pan of water. Here in SC this time of year. I just turn the ac off in the garage.
