    SOLD BELT / PATCH KNIFE

Tall Pine forges some incredible blades so if you're in the market for a knife, give this some serious consideration.

    Accuracy

Swab your barrel between shots with a very lightly dampened piece of cotton flannel. For a dry lube, try Ballistol and water, at 1/5, 1/6 and 1/7 ratios to see what works best in your rifle.

    Roundball size for .69 smoothbore?

Mic your bore first. I just went through trying to find the proper size of RB for my smooth bores and was kinda of shocked at what I found. First, all my guns are considered to be 20 gauge. However, the variances to be a 20 gauge are from .600 through .630. One mic'ed at .601, the other at .611...

    Accuracy

Dry the bore, apply some rust inhibiting lubricant (Barricade from your gunsmith) and store muzzle down to allow excess liquid drain from the breech. Grenadier175 Sage advice. Barricade is the best and you can buy it online. I like getting my own patch material and cleaning material myself...

SOLD .54 cal. Investarm / Cabela's, Inc. “Lyman Trade Rifle” Half Stock Percussion Rifle…w/ extras..$375.00 SHIPPED..

This is a steal considering that shipping and insurance is included in the asking price. When these were being made by Lyman (Investarms) they were considered tanks and though not fancy, rugged and reliable forever and a day.

WITHDRAWN WTS Lyman Great Plains (Hunter) 50 cal. perc. $550 shipped

These rifles are capable of great accuracy if you're willing to work up a load. Mine could tear out the bulls-eye at 75 yards using a Lee REAL bullet.
