    Remove the nipple and get some ffffg powder down the firing chamber. Replace the nipple, tap down the material on the powder and shoot the whole mess out.

    There is no known cure for this addiction. It is however treatable. The only known treatment is to acquire a new revolver when the pain becomes unbearable.

    It’s kinda like choosing between a Ford or a Dodge, no right answer. Chances are you are going to get them both pretty soon. With that said, the Remington copy is a little more user friendly for a beginner.

    Crisco over the chambers, pros and cons

    Crisco alone works alright. I much prefer crisco and beeswax mixed at about 50/50 ratio. That produces a lube that stays in place in warm weather. This mixture remains in the chambers until firing sequence is complete and keeps fouling soft. Lube over the balls is the preferred method...

    Revolvers use a lead ball without patching. You just need to use the proper size for a good fit.
