I'd love to see some responses to this thread. I have several T/C rifles and only one has "Renegade" stamped on it. The lone one in my first pic is a .54 caliber . In my second pic the top gun has no maker's stamp, only a serial number 89 624xxx. I can't say for sure that it is a T/C. It is...

I bought a chunk of it. I think I'll try cutting it with my Dremel and a diamond wheel. I don't yet own a wheellock but I will eventually, I hope.

This pack of parts, obviously for a revolver was in the lot of parts I bought a couple of days ago. They appear to be Colt parts. I think I'll disassemble my 1860 Army and clean all the inards. Then I'll know.

I have seen some old originals that the fit of the locks & parts were not good. Apparently inletting was the most difficult part of a build.

Yes. Can I cut it with a tile saw? What size & shape does it need to be for use in a wheel lock?

Great little guns. I have a bunch of ML rifles from .32 to .54 and my CVA Squirrel gun is one of my favorites. If I didn't already have one I'd be your buyer!

In my mixed box of parts I bought today was this little patch(?) box. It's a cute little thing that I might install iny CVA Squirrel rifle. But the lid doesn't fit the opening as well as it should. This one was also in the box.

I've had pretty good luck at this flea market. In the past I found a deal in a T/C Hawken in ,45 caliber, an old original .40 caliber (I think) rifle (probably a wallhanger, don't know yet), and a 12 ga double muzzleloader. I paid $15 each for the .40 and the shotgun. Also bought an unopened .45...

Could be I suppose. None of the pile of locks I got today, or any lock that I have seen before have a piece exactly like it. But I have not seen the inside/backside of as many locks as some on here I'm sure.

This thread is quite old but, I bought a mixed box of muzzleloader parts that included a pair of unidentified locks that will work on my shotgun. I only had to wait a little more than a year to find them!

Yeah, buying a box of assorted parts, I was surprised to find as many back action locks, eight singles and three pairs, including the ones for my shotgun, and eight other locks, or parts thereof.

More unknown to me parts, maybe not m.l. Can anyone identify anything in the pic(s)? Thanks.

I bought this lot of parts at the flea market today. The pair of locks shown will complete the double barreled shotgun I have. Included are some complete locks, some missing springs, and a bunch of parts. Also included are several flints. Will be posting more pics as I sort thru it
