Investarm breech plug
I kinda thought they would be different sizes based on the bore diameter difference between the two. I have read the thread is 16x1.5 metric, but that's for 50 caliber. I haven't read anything about the large bores. That's a good point I actually hadn't thought about. I really want to convert...- Jasonb1911

Investarm breech plugs
Also posted this in the percussion section. Both rifles are Investarm rifles, the flintlock is a Lyman Great Plains Rifle and the percussion is a Cabela's .58 caliber Hawken. Investarm breech plug
I'm thinking about swapping out the percussion breech plug on one rifle for the flintlock breech plug on another. The flintlock is .50 caliber and the percussion is .58 caliber. The outside dimensions are the same. Does anyone know if the breech plugs are the same size for the different caliber...- Jasonb1911
