Yeah now that we shot it and know it’s accurate and a good hunting gun we are going to keep it forever.

And it shoots good too! I had it inspected by a gunsmith, tested it myself and then my lady shot it. In her words “it’s mine and that spring Tom Turkey has no chance! “ hahahaha she loves it. Super light and shoots both round ball and shot accurately.

My beautiful lady blew up some targets with her 1797 Damascus smoothbore 16 gauge I just got her 😎. Shot and round ball. I’m so thankful she loves to shoot, hunt and fish as much as I do. It’s nice having a buddy when I’m in the woods

We pretty much spot and stalk all of our animals. And yes we use as much of EVERY animal as we can. We skin, flesh and brain tan all of the hides. Use the bones for knives and bone broth etc. My lady likes to make her own purses, bags, pouches, etc. I just wish she would make me some moccasins...
