8:36am here in dull, drizzly and not even daylight Eastern England, Just had the first of two bacon rolls waiting for my melting pot to heat up. Today I will be mostly casting .451cal pointy-nose bullets of 535gr for my Parker-Hale Whitworth, in readiness for the next outing on Thursday of the coming week. Still looking for thick felt to make wads, though, $0.50 apiece for bought items is a mite too heady for me.

Made some Moose Milk patch's, yes sir she going to just be fine ,shooting will tell.

Put pre-stain and stain on my DGW mountain rifle renovation. Stained twice with dark walnut Minwax oil stain. Still looks bad to me. Sorting thru stuff for gunshow this weekend. Tried making little flints from musket flints again after looking at even more videos. Brother-in-law makes whiskey, gave me a bottle for Christmas. I made a batch of Irish Cream. Turned out better'n those darned flints.

Went out hunting today with my best friend. Woods are quite very enjoyable. Seen a few small deer but left them go. Don't want to end hunting season too early. I just love being out in the woods. For me This is what it's all about.

Well, I "shot" this guy walking through my front yard today!

Disassembled my Hy Hunter Buccaneer again to check the breech plug, bought flints, read more forum posts, applied another coat of Tru-Oil to the CVA Kentucky pistol project, and polished the lock on it as well.
Hoping my Pedersoli Kentucky rifle comes in the mail tomorrow so I can take a good 3-4 blackpowder guns out to the range this weekend for my birthday.

Went to my Local gun shop and there in the rack was a CVA .58cal big bore rifle for sale. $150 bucks! Sooo I bought it . Now I have a little project. Have it totally stripped down and going to make it look like new
