I’m dealing with the same CT issue, my plan is to just find a .36 at some point. I have never tried swapping parts in muzzloaders, with modern stuff I always need to check the zero, I would probably have the same thing with a muzzleloader.

Mine has 4 holes, I haven’t tried to remove the sight or tang. That’s how i got it.

I just looked at my Renegade, and it has 2 screws in the sight base separate from the tang screws

My kit is serial K1127xx, the book has a date of August 1 1978, only thing on the barrel is the cal 50 and Thompson Center Rochester New Hampshire. I was handed a dusty broken box about 20 years ago because “I would actually finish it” I had to draw file the barrel and all the brass was rough...

I’m looking for a fixed rear sight for a Lyman GPR .50, the one that came with my kit the base was over filed before I got it.

I have to look now, but I seem to remember something about the 90’s on this kit. I still have the original box and paperwork
