    Enlarging Touch Hole

I've got a .62 with a 5/64 hole. 3f will dribble out, 2f won't. It was that large when I purchased it used.

    help with flintlock please

I have a TOW Full stock Lehman that was built from a kit in the 80's. It is a .62 cal. and is rifled 1-60. It likes .610 balls and a .015 patch lubed with crisco. 80 gr. of 2f will put 2 holes in any deer around.

    Flintlock pick?

A properly coned and drilled hole will usually self clean. That said, I pick before every shot when hunting and after swabbing like Many Klatch says.

    Looking at Flintlocks

I would go with a .54 It will buck the wind better, and weighs alot more. I would look at the Lyman kit also.

    3f vs 2f

If one were to use 80 grains of 2f and 80 grains of 3f, I would think the amout of fouling would be close,(if you weighed it) BUT, the 3f would have smaller particles which may look misleading compared to 2f.

    Plugging TH

I put my rifle in a cleaning vise upside down, and the end of the barrel lower than the breech. That way any leakage does't get into the stock.

How hair should a hair be?

I have a .62 cal fullstock Lehman that has set triggers, when set it is mere ounce's, I bought it used and was a little apprehensive of how light the set trigger was. Now that I'm used to it I can't imagine anything heavier. What do you folks adjust your set your triggers at?

    Touch Hole Vent

The pedersoli liner needs to be opened up, and usually coned fron the inside. Order a new one, modify it and take the old one out with an e-z out if you have to. You will enjoy much better ignition.

    Touch Hole Vent

What model do you have? You might not want to take the barrel off unless it uses wedges.
