    CASTING HUNTING BULLETS

Lee REALs should do well in that twist. The moulds are inexpensive too. An over powder wad can aid in accuracy but not always needed.

    Hot Glue Bullets

I've done it but don't remember measuring. Use pam or some kind of lube to keep from sticking. You can put it in the freezer to cool quicker. Did it for center fire pistol. No powder just a primer and has more power than you think it would.

.45 caliber RB enough for deer?

Personally I don't like neck shots. I've Not knocking anyone that do it personally but I've known too many people that never recovered their animal. It's a smaller zone hitting the throat than the heart/lung area and there is allot of good meat there that can get waisted. I shot my first deer...

    Making Willow Charcoal

Wouldn't several smaller cans work faster?

    Carrying conicals afield

One thing, if you are carrying extra minies, take care to protect the bases. A bent dented or damaged base will seriously degrade accuracy.

    Making Willow Charcoal

The natural Charcoal for BBQs burns longer and hotter. That should work better.

    Apple pie filling (Zucchini)

The wife is on a low carb diet so when I make spaghetti I fry her some Zucchini instead of the pasta.

    Alaska?

You can't Mail BP even with a HazMat fee. UPS is out also because they ship by air to AK. It has to be shipped ground, hence the problem getting BP shipped to AK.

    Aging of Lead Bullets

Sounds reasonable but I have never tried it. Try it and measure after a week or two and measure them and see.

    Carrying conicals afield

Not PC but they sell plastic tubes that are capped to hold them. They even allow for powder and some have a small container attached for a cap.

    Aging of Lead Bullets

This was discussed on another board, both age hardening and spring back. If I remember right, after one week, it is pretty much done hardening and spring back, or at least for the most part.

DIY and original ramrod tips, jags, photos please.

Same for me. I have also used rimmed brass that I ground the rim off. I also have a round ball shaped like a file ro concave the center as to not distort the ball so much.

Lyman, Lee, or RCBS Min'e Mold ?

Lee works well for me. It's easier to use than some because of the integral pin. Like mentioned though, you need the minie that fits your bore or it will be of little use.

    Dixie Percussion caps

I don't know why people have a problem with corrosive caps. The powders themselves are corrosive.

    Best oil for rust prevention

I have some LSA. The bottle I had dried up some. Not completely but got real thick form a hot garage. I diluted it some so I could still use it but luckily found some last year at a gunshow. I don't use it on the M/L though. I switched to Barricade recently because of issues. WD40 worked fine...

    Loadind data needed

Not a rule, more like a guideline that some go by. 1 grain per caliber and half that for pistols and small caliber rifles.

Help i need a stuck bullet

I'd go with a really tight conical. If you go too big like 54 in a 50 you may not get it down all the way but a half way in stuck ball or bullet seems to be worse.
