If you are not familiar with this model, it is outstanding. I bought one years ago for my wife and have started her, three sons and a grandson shooting on it. If I could figure out why I need a second one, I would be buying it! They are beautiful and ours is a great shooter.

Along the line of the jb weld idea. I might try raising the bottom of the pan. Maybe soft solder a shim in there and look for a performance change. If so you could replace it with a silver solderd shim. If it didnt work go for the replacement touch hole. Be warned though. Get a good gunsmith if...
