Yes....a replacement spring arrived a few weeks ago & it took about 4-5 minutes to put it back together. ] The ol' smoothbore is out of surgery!

I don't disassemble the lock every time I clean a gun. Sometimes I take out several guns to shoot. I would be hours tearing the locks down & reassembling them. I clean them with water, soap & a toothbrush. Dry it well. Oil the lock & put it back on the gun. That's worked well for me over a...

Absolutely..... I spend 5-7 minutes cleaning my guns using Swiss & Schuetzen. I never achieved that using Goex. I still have 3-4 pounds of the older Goex & quit using it for that reason.

There is plenty of Goex for sale at Friendship although I really have no interest in buying any. I'm quite content with shooting Swiss & Schuetzen.

I didn't realize those 2 shots were that close together till I was editing this one. That will probably never happen again....LOL

Since I'm just an ol' RB shooter and have no idea what a muzzle brake is or what type of gun you're talking about, I assume that "unmentionable" gun would shatter the glass on the truck..??

Great thought...however, you will never get this particular cabin out there. It is a historical gem ( built in 1787 ) in our hometown and they won't let it go...!!! .
