    First Flinter?

Yes, and after the pandemic no one should expect prices to be what they were anymore. Cost of material and shortages etc. It's amazing kibler hasn't increased his price anymore.

    First Flinter?

Umm 🧐 https://www.muzzle-loaders.com/lyman-great-plains-rifle-signaure-series-50-cal-flintlock-6034002.html Also I literally said the issues with Indian and traditions firearms haha.

    First Flinter?

Refer to this topic about it, Dave Person built me a Kibler and goes into detail about the work involved (there wasn't much): Kibler Kit Assembly

    First Flinter?

Because the alternative is a $650 Indian ready made rifle, a $600 rifle kit from Traditions that takes some know how, or something close to $1000 with caveats. I got a $650 blunderbuss from Veteran arms. I can tell you this thing is pretty cheaply made. Its 100% functional, but the lock has an...

    Kibler SMR flint size?

They are very good kits, most people here will vouch to that. Look at the gun building segment of the forum and you'll see a lot of people sharing tips on building them.

Pan flash - from INSIDE the barrel

Based on that knowledge, should you always tilt your rifle 90 degrees to the right before you start aiming to dump the powder towards the outer edge?

Making and early Peter Berry rifle

To my uneducated eyes, the buttplate on the original has a unique curve compared to other early rifles, but not the crazy crescent + height of later long rifles such as an SMR. Was something like this meant to be fired from the shoulder or more towards the arm and across the body like the latter?

Woods walk/muzzleloading in the southeast Region?

Oh no, It was just a question, I don't know if they do events anywhere on the south east region, and was saying I'm willing to drive a distance, just not sure if there is anything. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Woods walk/muzzleloading in the southeast Region?

I mean I'm willing to drive hours to do something like that, just don't know if I gotta go all the way to Tennessee or so.

I live in NE Florida and was wondering if there is any major Muzzleloading events coming up that includes a woodswalk?

    Kibler kit assembly and carving

Look forward to reading it! I still planned to shoot it (Already have 200 rounds and accessories ready to break it in).

    Kibler kit assembly and carving

True enough, I often stare at my 1916 rifle wondering if its fought any battles, and how the parts broke and who repaired it with replacements.

    Kibler kit assembly and carving

Yeah, I was expecting it to be a nice rifle based on his previous work, now I'm scared to shoot this piece of art haha.

    Kibler kit assembly and carving

Should one ever consider adjusting the balance of a rifle with use of perhaps a small weight in the patch box to make it less muzzle heavy, or would the additional weight not be worth the balance?

    Amusing/Ridiculous Muzzleloading Misconceptions...

If SUV's would abide by road regulations every other truck and car abides by they would be a lot safer, but right now SUVs kill everything but other SUVs on the road. For what its worth they have 5 stars on side impact and rolling lol

    Amusing/Ridiculous Muzzleloading Misconceptions...

Prius aren't electric, they are hybrid. The engine charges the battery and when the battery is charged it uses a gasoline/electric hybrid engine to get you 50mpg+ on the highway. No plug in or chargers required. Also their interior is insanely spacey for a car. Pulled up to a sod place to...

    .54 caliber kibler checklist.

Mostly range and people's back yard ranges. I've been interested in doing woods walk but never have been to one and don't know if there are any available in my region (NE Florida).

    .54 caliber kibler checklist.

I figure making my own starter if I have an issue probably would be easy.

I do have the beeswax, what do you use it for (I was using it for possible lubricant base) Do you need a breach scraper often? I have all the attachments but that one.
