Yeah this was rebuilt next to the original site. There is a hayfield to the east where the pivot is and the fort does have some modern things piped in but the museum part is authentic no lights or gas heat the trade store only had a fireplace for heat. I should have took more pictures.

Took my boy to the Frozen Toes Rendevous in Ft Lupton Co yesterday it was fun really enjoyed the fort.

I love my .54 investarms killed several muleys they always dropped in their tracks. Used both prb and tc maxi hunters liked both.

What about using a single pieced brass ram rod ? Is this PC ?

Can the lines be drawn in sharpie I don't think my eyes can see those thin lines at 25 yds

I had success with kroil and easy out on a stuck nipple. Let it set with kroil for awhile. I would tape the area around it so you don't accidentally leave tool marks use that blue masking tape a couple layers.

Thanks for this post went to the range yesterday and my gun was doing this exact thing. Took the lock off and sprayed it with break cleaner. Fixed the problem. The weird part is the lock didn't look dirty 🤔 But it worked.
