Because I can. But really I glued the two halves together and I don't like the cheesy look of the two peice stocks.

I'm just about ready for paint on my Traditions flintlock. My question is how to seal the stock before primer and paint? I'm going to use a high quality automotive one stage paint but the wood I'm thinking will need some type of sealer first. Anyone with experience with this?
