I have 2 Colerain barrels, 1 in .62 cal swamped, the other I'm putting together now in .36 cal. swamped. the .62 is amazingly accurate and extremely easy to clean. all others I have are Douglas and i'm very happy with them.

it was a trigger guard for a new build, the thing was really crooked. I bent it cold last night without any problems. it seemed really soft after some file work and had no spring to it while bending. thanks for the input folks.

can a sand cast brass casting( trigger guard ) be heated and bent without breaking?

if you are looking on their website or items on ebay, they always have a very good picture and excellent description of the piece being offered. they offer veg tan in cattle, sheep, buffalo ect. all are listed.

is it a split or grain on hide? I have dealt with them a lot and that is where I buy all if my leather. top notch people!! great products and customer service and fast shipping. you are also buying from a picture of that hide and any imperfections will show up, you get what you see! again, great...

yep, i'm taking my fly rods along. we are hunting with Brophy and Sons Outfitters. booked for the week of Sept 18 thru 23. taking my Cristians Springs .62 cal I finished last fall. from what i'am told the border isn't a problem with the gun or blackpowder.

I have been using 5-6 oz moose leather for my bags. its thick but really pliable and soft and the bag really conforms and shapes itself around your body. very happy with it.

you should be able to get on line and find the correct dept/phone number for the border crossing/customs. I have a moose hunt booked in the fall for Newfoundland and contacted the Canadian border/customs about my flintlock and blackpowder and they were a wealth of information and very helpful.

never used it on horns, but have used it in my pond for 30 years to kill algae. I can't imagine what color it would turn it. it is blue and when dissolved is a very concentrated blue color and turns you hands blue.

30 gr. of 3f in a 38" douglas barrel. the gun is set up and sighted in for woodchucks out to 100 yards or a little more. I use the same load for squirrels only because I know where it shoots with the sight picture I use. its a bit heavy for squirrel, but its what i'm used to shooting a lot.

i have used and do use 3f in everything i have from .32 cal thru .62 cal. it work great in everything and i only have one powder. actually 2 powders, with 4f for my pan powder. i think it burns cleaner and you will get more fps with less of it, thus cutting down on the amount you use. its what...
