Like most of the posts above, 3F with reduced about 10% from 2F should work fine. My hawken .50 with prb just did not shoot 2F with any accuracy for me. It likes 3F. 60 grains of Schutzen or Swiss it eats. Of course your results may differ. 😂

Thank you. Exactly the answer I was hoping. And I did make an adjustment to the screw holding the spring down. I backed it out 1/4 turn and made it too a poundage on the set trigger that was acceptable. Case closed

Short story for sure. Picked up this TC Hawkin 45 recently. Barrel was somewhat clean, I did attempt to clean the barrel, but am not sure what this is. Note the brown. Is this rust, old lube or what? Any thoughts would be appreciated. If old lube what would get this out.

Just wanted to thank all for the reply posts on my Elephant black powder issues. Many different opinions of course which was too be expected with my question. Time will tell what happens with this powder I have.
