How to keep Suede Possibles Bag Clean

I got a suede possibles bag for Christmas and it is a medium to light brown. When I shoot Black Powder my hands get pretty dirty and this thing is going to look really bad after a few outings. Any recommendations on what to use to protect it. Or should I sell it and get a regular leather one?

    Gun Safe Recommendations

Thanks for all the advice. I bought a Liberty Colonial 23 today. My flintlock fits and it has room for all my other guns. It should be delivered in about a week.

    looking for a flintlock

Depending on where you live, I would take a trip to Dixon Muzzleloading in Kempton, PA. You won't be disappointed. They will answer any question you might have and they have some beautiful guns for sale.

    Gun Safe Recommendations

I recently bought a 50 Cal. Flintlock which is 58" in length and is too long for my Gun Safe. I was thinking of getting a new safe anyway, although I would rather not, and was wondering if any of you had any recommendations. Thanks.

    First Muzzleloader

The way I figured it, if I bought a Percussion gun it would only be a matter of time before I got a Flintlock, so why mess around. I ran cleaning patches between shots and had absolutely no problems. I was also amazed at the recoil being more of a push than a jolt. There is just something so...

    First Muzzleloader

I tried to upload a Photo but I have no idea how to do it. As far as a description, it has a Large Siler Lock, Brown Octagon Barrel, and Dark Tiger figured wood.

    First Muzzleloader

I was at a gun show in January, and saw a Flintlock that looked awesome. I never shot Black Powder before, and I figured if you are going to go that route, it has to be a Flintlock. My wife actually talked me into buying it, (it wasn’t cheap) and am I glad she did. I brought it to Dixon’s and...

    Loading a Flintlock on Pavement

I will be going to the range, hopefully next week, to shoot my Flintlock for the first time. The area is paved where you would load up the rifle. My question is this: Do you guys bring something to put the rifle on when loading, so you don't scrape up the Butt Stock? Thanks
