I have a TC Cherokee in 32 and a TC Seneca in 36.The 36 is more turkey,yote,etc caliber.The 32 is perfect for squirrel,pheasant,rabbit,etc.

Took it apart today and usually a flinter will have old powder behind the lock.Nothing and looks like new.Replaces the hex touch hole with a slotted TC touch hole.Might shoot with the fiber sights although not a big fan of them.I do have original Renegade front and rear to replace.Double...
Had knee replacement 7-8 weeks ago so I'm bored.Saw a 80 gun sale coming up and saw a listing for a TC 58 cal flint.First thought was misprint and it's a perc 58 Big Boar.Get there and it is a TC Renegade 58 cal flinter.Droped the bore light down and it was slightly dirty but no ringed...
I shot this gun about 1 year ago and found with SHOT it was about 8" low left barrel.I was about to sell and thought I'd try this.
It now is slightly low and I filed a little more but have not tested a 3rd time. You can't see the filing and even with a square it is not much.
I would have tried to...
Left about 1hr earlier this afternoon to walk a little. When you have severe arthritis in 1 knee walking gets tough.Walked the top of the ridge for 45 minutes and decided a spot to sit.Tracks of about 3 were there from early morning. After sitting for about 30min,up comes this baldie.Left it come...
I have more "Drop in their tracks" with the 45's and 50grs of powder than the 50,54,or 58.Maybe it's cause they absorb the energy with lower powder charges?
Tried this on a double where the left barrel was about 8"low.Filed about .003 off bottom and blended sides. You can't see it even if you know it.Pattern it the other nite and it brought it up to 3-4"low.Gonna file a little more and leave it at that.
Worked great.Thanks Britsmoothy! :thumbsup...
