    Have you talked to the people at the Sir Walter Club or the Creedmoor range. Also a little further is the Wake county Public range but the fees are about $15 per hour butit is all indoors and they let you shoot black powder (I always take new guns there to sight in)

    Thanks all for your imput. It sounds to me that I could make a handle out of goat horn but I would have alot more work involved to make it functional and I would have to be carefull with it(which I can't) . oh well twas just a thought. Thanks again
