Any sites like Leatherman for possibles bag?

I purchased one of his straps recently. His website is still up. Pepe's possibles is a good option. I have one of his larger bags. His website needs to be updated. Best to catch him at an event . http://www.colonialmarket.com/pepe/wallets.html

    Fort de Chartres

Actually we're staying at the Conner House as well. The Quebec room became available after a cancellation. Not my favorite room but it beats running back and forth to Redbub. Still not geared up for a overnight "glamping experience" camping.

    Revisiting hardtack

Put some "ship's biscuits" together. Used the recipe from Max Miller's YouTube channel. Not much of a recipe really. Stone ground whole wheat and water. Portioned each biscuit with 6 ounces of dough. Finished product ended up being about 4 ounces which means a daily ration of 4 biscuits. Gave...

Paints for camp fixtures and furniture?

I’m pretty happy with milk paint. My tent poles and a dry sink are painted. Come as a dry power. Mix it 1:1 with water. Place a marble in the can. Seal up and give it a shake. If I want to see the wood grain, I use a tung oil with stain.

    Fort de Chartres

You can camp at the fort as long as you’re “period” camping. Modern or Rv camping not allowed. I think there are exceptions for sutlers.

    Fort de Chartres

Conner House B&B is the only place nearby. Pricey but very nice. Always book during the De Chartres events. We’ve stayed they the last 3 years but gave our spot away this year. Going to have to stay in Redbud (10 miles away) this year.

    Martins Station
