For anybody that owns those two revolvers and also owns a presentation case, are you able to interchange them in the same case?
 
That is a pretty good question. I own one of each of those revolvers. I have a generic black powder revolver case that held an 1860 Army. I suppose it could hold the 1861 Navy because of the similar shape. The 1851 Navy... I don't know. I would guess it depends on how snug you want the pieces to fit. :idunno:
 
Yea, I like to build them kind of snug. I think the area on the two guns that could be a little different in size is around the loading lever assembly? Barrel length and overall length are the same I believe.

Building one as a gift for a friend that owns a 61 and don't have one of my own to test.
