Hi all. I'm wondering if any Uberti 1851 Navy parts will fit an original Navy Colt? Specifically loading lever plunger, hand spring assembly, sear bolt spring, trigger, cylinder pin, wedge.
Thanks for any help.
Bob

Welcome to the Forum, :hatsoff:

I don't think so.

A big Supplier is "Dixie Gunworks" they have parts for Original and Reproduction revolvers and a quick look in your behalf shows the parts #'s are different for many of the items you list.

Here's a link to the "Originals" page for Colt; http://www.dixiegunworks.com/default.php?cPath=22_94_259
A little searching around their site will show ya the differences, part and $$ wise.

Dixie is a trusted supplier and they may be able to answer more questions directly,
Good Luck,,

I have a 2nd Generation Colt 1851 C Series. On the third cylinder the hand spring broke. I ordered a "Colt" 1851 hand spring from Numrich. When it arrived it was in a Pietta package and was identical to the one I got in a parts kit from Cabelas for my Pietta clones. I filed it to the same profile as the origional hand and it's worked ever since.

I am sure that some new made parts can be used to repair an original as I have done it myself. I have an 1860 army that was missing some parts, dixie had the correct thread screws I needed for the frame and I used a uberti loading lever asssembly to replace the missing one on mine. Just be sure to get the right screws to go with the repair.
