Caucasian lock arrives

Right? How cool is that! Maybe I’ll scan it and make a 3D printable one. That way it can be lost wax cast. In the process of 3D printing a front band for my Berthier Carbine. It’s going fair so far - I’m quite an amateur at it so it’s taking a hot minute.

IPhone right now and a 2D flatbed scanner. Price is coming down on 3D scanners so maybe one of those soon.

Thanks for the info! I originally planned on 3d scanning two locks I borrowed from another forum member, but when looking for scanning tools, I realized I was way over my head
