Does anyone have any "go to" site from leather holsters for a 1858 Remington? I am looking to build a gun belt rig.... Any advice, examples or tips welcome

Some of the guys mentioned are excellent craftsmen but in my experience a little pricey. There's a guy that makes holsters for C&B revolvers who does excellent work for a fraction of what some others charge, in fact I have at least six of his holsters for Navy, Army and 1858 revolvers. He sells on eBay and if you're interested in seeing his work pm me and I'll send an eBay link. I'm not sure the rules allow me to post eBay links here so pm me.

I taught myself how to make my own holsters. It adds a whole new dimension to the sport of shooting, and is enjoyable in its own right.

There is an almost endless amount of free holster-making instruction available on the internet, and on this forum. I've posted some myself.

This is only a fraction of what I have made:

Nice work!

I’m looking for a left hand cross draw slim Jim holster rig with a flask holder and cartridge case on it for a Colt Walker. Do you make those?

Ok I appreciate it. I know what it’s like. I have 3 jobs and work 7 nights a week and one job during the day at home.

I work 45 hrs at Evoqua Water Technologies in Document Control, 2-3 nights as a Security Officer, then I am doing my Reproduction Cartridges, and Caps during the daytime.

I have seen B P Arn's work and can attest to his quality of work. He and i converse from time to time on projects. Here are a couple of mine.

I like Bob Mernickle holsters. Expensive, but not outrageously so, and the quality is top notch. He builds leather goods for Cowboy Action Shooters and fast draw competitors.

I’m not affiliated with them and I’m not advertising For them, I just like their stuff.

I must point out that it is against the forum rules to make an offer to buy, sell or trade anything in any area of the forum except for the Classified ad sections.
