I just saw on the news that fearing terrorism, Calif. has banned .50 cal. rifles. Wonder if they will draw the line at centerfires? Time to wake up people.

California didn't ban anything. Arnie did. He's just trying to score some brownie points with the 'anti' crowd.Calif. has banned .50 cal. rifles.
The ban is for any rifle (bolt-action or otherwise) firing the .50 BMG cartridge. Their excuse is that terrorists can use them to shoot down airliners at 30,000 feet, blow up oil refineries from a mile away...

The really odd thing is, Arnold made alot of money carrying .50 cal machine guns around and shooting the manure out of everything, in the movies. "Commando" comes to mind, right away. He shot more people in one movie with one , than have ever been shot in real life, in California. Ungrateful S.O.B. :curse:
