I'm sure a terrorist would rather have something bigger, like a nuke...

The use Kamikaze tactics with airplanes and take out thousands, so a .50 caliber rifle is small potatoes...

Of course...or a stinger missle, or rocket tubes in the back of a van with the top cut out, or any number of internationally available black market weapons.

It's just more contrived BS from the left wing gun control freaks...they have nothing else available to them in the news right now so this is their ticket to get some press coverage...and the bad news is that everybody who doesn't have any reason to own one will go right along with them.

I'll repeat my earlier statement of a few weeks ago when talking about assualt rifles...personally, I don't have one...personally, I don't need one, and personally, I won't be buying one...BUT...it's not about 'needs', it's about 'rights'...I want to be able to lawfully buy and use one if I want to !!
Looks like we now see the true colors of Arnold Swartzenegger (sp?)...the left win Kennedy extremists probably got to him behind the scenes

You know what they never mention? Barrett made the rifle for civilian ling range target shooting. The military picked it up later after seeing what it could do.
I did really enjoy Barrett's refusal to work on LAPD SWAT's .50BMG rifle after L.A. banned it. They sent it in for repair and he basically said "up yours!"

I believe he also offered to refund their money if they returned the ones that they already had. He was really p!$$ed because the LAPD actually paraded their Barrett in front of a California Legislative Group to demonstrate the need for a .50 cal. ban.

It worries me that the government is afraid of people who legally own guns.
