Nice Speed Goat Congratulations. I too until just now seeing this thread was one that believed the "Professionals" on TV. Had me thinking you couldn't get close to them. Nice to know now you can. I've always wanted to go hunt Antelope and a few other Western Animals. I've even gone so far as to acquire an AT&T Rifle (reach out and touch something), but I would much rather use a front stuffer.

Not so lucky as you , Lagos 1978- 1981. They said I was a small boy when I arrived but by 79 they said I was a big boy. Still miss them so much belonged to hunters club But it’s min 800 miles N east to even hope for buff or elephant

All scrap steering columns in Nigeria had to be cut up or the locals would make a ml gun out of them. BP ok $4 a pile newspaper bundle. Of course a hammer no trigger and a bit of rubber inner tube for a spring. Probably red matches for a primer. But most used bow and arrow for robbers , we just had Skipper our big dog See executions Bar Beech Lagos 1972 every Sunday morning. They , robbers, would sing out “ I am going to meet Jesus”. “ Jesus hear I come”. Bang bang bag . “ he’s gone to meet Jesus”. , of course we all know Jesus lives on Mars !!!!! Lovely people miss them so much, However thousands of them in UK.

Just paid holts auctioneers uk £260 for an almost finished pair of 28gage shotgun barrels. Had to have them , bought from auction photos I’ll collect them 3 sep when they have a valuation day 24 miles from me. Or it’s a 400 mile long trip to collect them , it’s coming with my mountain carbine .

Congratulations on your antelope. I'll be after them w/stick and string in a couple weeks. If I'm not successful, then a MLoader later in October.

Congrats on your successful BP hunt. I sure it will be a memory your will hold forever. Love to see the old guys do it right! Coming from another old guy! Keep it up.
