Would this barrel be a good candidate for a recrown and reline of the bore? It's a barnett 2 band enfield from 1863. Don't know what to think of it at the moment.

I’d scrub the bore really well with a scotch brite pad, and then clean it good, then shoot it with the right size bullet before getting any work done. It may shoot ok.
 
It doesn't have a bayonet lug, so I assume it's a shortened P1853 Rifle-Musket? Before doing anything to it I would make sure it doesn't have any desirable viewers markings on it.
