I thought I hit the jackpot a while back when i found prelubed patches with Lube 103.

Then, last week, I really hit the jack pot! Brand new, unopened container of Lube 103. Smells like baby powder. I read that its pretty much chap stick, but still a cool little piece to collect and put on the shelf.

Lube good-prelubed patches from the eighties not so good. Lubed patches will deteriate over time.

Not sure I would use that stuff. There is someone that posts on here regularly that makes a darn good patch lube containing bear grease.

Rendered bear fat is excellent , but tough to git a supply of it. Here in Pa. , few guys hunt them any more , even though we are over run w/them. Sheep fat rendered ,is #2 , but again , tough to find.

Prelubed Patches can be kept good for quite a while , if kept in the freezer. But , I'm too lazy to make them up to put in the freezer. Sooooo , I just make 'em up as I use them.

Lol yeah I do make it when I have the bear fat in stock. They don't willingly cooperate. I just love to test old things that I never got to play with, simply due to being born yet lol!
