That mule-ear isn't awful at all. It is what it is -- a practical shooter someone made, and they put some knowledgeable time into it.

As for the other one... So far I have the winning bid.

:shocked2:

Pete, it's a fine gun. One that Stevie Wonder would be proud of.

Joshin' ya, me.

Anyhow, here in yUK it's a valuable piece, since it has to be licensed just the same as a Royal-grade Holland & Holland double rifle, and is classed as equally deadly as any .50cal anti-matériel sharp-shooting arm.

Take care.

tac, sadly, also in the yUK

That first pistol is an eyesore :barf: ......but it just may shoot like a dream. :idunno: It may be ugly but I'm no eyeful myself. :haha:

BTW, the lock is labeled "Sears"

...for shooting Robucks?

(Must date from before their J.C. Higgens Sporting goods.)

Hey guy, that's a good one!!! :rotf: :hatsoff:

We had a guy in our club back in the 70s who took a cedar fence post, sort of inlet a barrel, lock and trigger in it. It was almost as good looking as that first pistol in this thread. Oh by the way, it shot about as bad as it looked, it was definitly "ugly as a fence post".

At least the fencepost was real wood -- I think the ugly pistol is molded and dried putty.

Is it available in right hand also?

Actually, that Thing would be a great travelling trophy for a big recurring pistol shoot. The second place shooter gets The Thing, and has to bring it back the following shoot for the next second place shooter.

You guys are awful... The First Place winner should get that pistol. The Second Place winner would get TWO OF THEM!!!

:rotf:

It should be entered (or is that interred) at one of the custom guild shows for all to study! The crack in the stock taking particular skill to reproduce accurately.
