Maybe someone can make sense of this for me.
I have a new barrel for my GPR that I will be shooting tomorrow for the first time.
Lyman's recommends lowering the rear site completely and filing the front site down to raise the point of impact to the desired spot.
To me this seems like you are not leaving youself room to adjust the sights down if needed.
I usually set the rear site in the middle, then file the front site to get my POI where I want it. I feel that gives me more room for adjustments with a wider range of powder charges.
Thoughts?
