Thanks I did watch some of the muzzle loaders at the shooting range. Forgot to mention I did watch the Axe range a little. There were a bunch of kids there competing at Axe throwing.

I made my first trip to the rendezvous today. I couldn’t find anyone to go with me so I had to drive 81 miles from my house alone. I didn’t get there till noon time and they closed up shop at three but I did buy some Round Balls and a new turn screw and some pieces of leather. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I’m not sure that I even got to see every one of the rows of tents
I really did enjoy it though. I’ll definitely go back next year. I was hoping to run into some of the guys that I would recognize on the forum, but I wouldn’t have known their faces if Id talked to them.

There was a lady there with a tent full of leather rolls including deer skins. I think I lost her card cuz when I got home it’s gone. Does anyone know her info?

There’s a few people with leather but her tent was almost all leather stuff.

They are open to the public again on Saturday the 21st. I can't go Saturday unfortunately because my church is doing their men's retreat that got postponed from last year Saturday. Hurricane Ian canceled it. I drove alone and went about eighty miles from Pasco county. I can understand that. I did make it down to the range master and he gave me a pamphlet on how to join. I did run into one guy who had a number of rifles and smoothbore for sale not far from the governor's tent. Lots of good stuff. I also met a 16th century Spanish re enactor from ST Augustine.

That makes three shops there from Kentucky I know of. I bought my waistcoats from Romantically Bent who the owner was from Kentucky. The boots from Daniel Boone from Kentucky also and a tent or two away from Romantically Bent. I think Kentucky Leather was across the street from them.

Since it was my first visit I had not joined or prepared to shoot but I will change that. I did bring one rifle just in case the opp came up. I kept it locked in truck. I had no idea how big this thing is. I met some really nice people.
Plus it was nice to see all the girls/ladies and young kids participating.

Too far travel from Colorado. However, you can now put the rest up online.
