I use the small Altoids tin for my squirrel rifle. In my .50 bag I use a shoe polish tin with the little flipper that helps open the lid. Mike

Altoids tins are great little items. I am going to work on one today to hold my caps for my reovolvers. It is one of the altoids minis tins.

Thank's for sharing the Link Roundball, They have some really nice Tin's at a very good price,

Kenny

Nobody ever mentions Ted Cash boxes. Not as cheap as free but very good quality in several different metals. I have two tinder boxes, one is German Silver and much used, the other is sterling silver and engraved. It is not used.

Someday I'm gonna learn to post pictures, but I hammered out the lid to one of my boxes, then browned, waxed, and buffed the top out. Now it almost has a leather look to it.

I just bought a Ted Cash tinderbox this year. It appears that his stuff is still as good as it was 20 some years ago when I bought one of his cappers.
