Had to make one for my .32 rifle. Stained this one a shade darker and made a stopper from a cow horn tip. Thanks for looking!!

Very nice!!! I really like the metal rings, and the stopper is fantastic.

What is your technique for finishing / burnishing the edges? They look really good.

I sand the pieces flush and slick the edges with water. Lightly sand again and burnish the edge with beeswax and a piece of folded up canvas. I stain them before any of this

Thanks, I will try that on my next project. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. I made a bag for a friend and one for my wife. It was my first project and I didn’t really know what to do so I just left it raw.8B7A55F5-F354-41B9-8B5D-C25D309A9171.jpeg
