If it works for you on the your tryout, I suggest you go back and purchase a few more yards from the same bolt. Spend $20 or so bucks today and you won’t be spending it in the future on gas trying to track something down that might work.
Personally, I have more patching material than I will likely ever need, but that also means that I won’t scrambling at some point in the future in desperate need of patching material. Cheap insurance.
