Hey guys,

I'm out of ideas for my antler. Just got done with a 30 gr. powder measure. Got all kinds of buttons and knife handles. Yall got any ideas?

Thanks,

The tips of antlers can be made into a necklace that looks like claws or fangs.

You can also inlay crushed turquoise in antler burrs to make a great pendant too.

If you have a flintlock, you can use a hollowed out antler for a pan charger.

Good Luck !

My vent pick is a wire attached to a piece of antler tine, and I like it.

An inkpen made from an antler would be interesting. Some ladies might like earrings made from the very tip of the tines. A big straight piece of antler could contain a small flashlight.

I've used antler for small file handles, and handle for home-made tool to cut grooves in leather when making knife sheaths.

I've made bottles out of a 3" - 5" long beam section, hollowing out from the smaller, then making the dead end from a piece of Walnut (whatever), and a stopper from another/smaller tip - or a brass horn filling fitting.

(I found/bought the antique drinking horn)
