I’m at work for 12 hours today with not much to do. Can anyone make me a drawing of a 44. Paper cartridge maker for a Cap and ball 1858 Remington. I was going to turn one out of brass.

I modified a Cap&Ball .44 caliber forming mandrel so I can get more powder in a paper cartridge for my Ruger Old Army - here are the dimensions of that modified mandrel: small diameter = 0.336" -- large diameter = 0.454" -- length between diameters = 1.046". Overall length of former is 2.515 and the diameter of the knurled head (where you hold it) is 0.877" X 0.75" long. Hope this helps you. ;)
