Well the apple crop is great this year so I have lots of cider. The grape crop is good as well so I will have lots of grape cider. I just bottled up the last of last years ciders. It is easy to see why so many of the colonists had their cider jugs handy. My favotite recipe is three quarts of live cider one quart of live grape juice , and 1/2 cup honey. (Live means not pasturised, so that the natural yeasts are live! ) Apple jack is made by letting the cider ferment in the lack of oxygen, then when done fermenting let freeze and pour off the unfrozen liguid in the center of the keg.As Goldie Hawn says : " Good Stuff" :bow:
