I have a 15/16 28" one from Green River, a T/C drop in replacement but I don't think they make muzzleloading barrels anymore. I do know they made longer barrels but I don't know how much longer. You might try a wanted ad in the classifieds. You might find a longer barrel in a different caliber and have it relined by Bob Hoyt. Good luck with your search.

I might have a Douglas barrel that is .40 caliber and 15/16? I'll look tomorrow and let you know.

As others have suggested, Rice Barrel, among others can supply. From the Rice website. They offer 40 caliber barrels from 7/8” up to 1-3/8”.

Looking for a .40 15/16 or 1” 36-38” long. 1:48 twist

Thanks
Over Christmas, I had a re-barrel project.

I wanted to re-barrel my Dixie Tennessee Mountain rifle from .32 calibre to .40 calibre. Barrels are so hard to come by. After a few weeks, I gave up and went with a .45 calibre barrel.

Gun is OMG accurate…but still wish it were a .40.

So do you still have the 15/16 40 caliber barrels ?? I am in dire need of a barrel. But I would purchase both. Thank you so much.

Yes...sorry, I got sidetracked and forgot all about looking.

I have 2 Douglas, 15/16" X 44", .40 cal., 1 turn in 66", never breeched. PM me...
Message me your info and we can work on getting one headed this way. Thanks

Robert Hoyt is probably best known on this forum for his work re-boring and lining barrels, but he also makes them from scratch. You can order pretty much whatever you want with regard to caliber, groove type and depth, rate of twist, and outside dimensions. He can even make a tapered bore.

Best regards,

Notchy Bob
