A few weeks ago I fell in a parking lot messed up my shoulder. Was hoping to bowhunt. I’m going to try to draw it before the snowpacolipse. I’d use an unmentionable bow I bought for the kids but my son broke that. I hope you have a speedy recovery maybe with exercise you’ll be better than before.

Well I had all next week scheduled for deer hunting with my son and fell down the attic stairs Monday night and fractured my Tibia. I'm am now in a full leg splint which immobilizes my entire left leg and unable to walk.

If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any at all. My son wants to drive out to the farm and let me sit in the back of the truck and hunt. I think I will just sit at the fire and hang out while my boys chase them.

Oh well it could have been much worse. For all you guys that will be out next week GOOD LUCK and stay out of the attic.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

DANG! Sorry to hear this!

Yup, that timing sure stinks. Take it easy by the fire and you'll heal faster:thumb: I had a leg messed up when I got hit by a car on my motorcycle. Was in physical therapy one day for the leg and wearing my brace when I saw a prosthetic leg propped back in the corner of an open equipment closet. Suddenly my banged up but still attached leg seemed almost good as new :) YMMV

I feel you. I'd been fighting a 2 week long bout of some head/chest cold after going to the Tulsa fun show but was well on the mend until the night before opening day of Whitetail rifle season. Every time I inhaled frosty air my lungs went into vapor lock and every buck in 10 miles around me could hear my constant coughing.

So sorry for the Miss Hap get well soon , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ….

Sorry about your accident.
Keep up the good attitude and heal well.

Merry Christmas ✝

I hate to hear that. Just bad timing. I have been busted up pretty bad on several occasions, and know that recovery is no fun AT ALL. Get well soon brother, good luck to your boys and yall have a Merry Christmas!

I feel your pain! 3 years ago, I stepped off my 4-wheeler onto a small log and twisted my ancle so badly I couldn't walk in the woods for months, no deer hunting for me. 2 years ago, I timed my hip replacement so I would get over it by deer season, I got a botched replacement that took me almost two years to get over, no deer hunting that year. Last year I slipped on some stone steps on a hiking trail and tore my meniscus to the extent that the injury, waiting on a DR appointment, testing, surgery and rehab lasted from the day before Alabama M/L season until gun season ended in February, no hunting for me.

I am finally back up to speed this year and even killed a little buck.
