Salt-water fish are far safer to eat raw than most land-dwelling creatures or fresh-water fish. Raw/rare Tuna is excellent as are all manner of sushi/sashimi. Anisakiasis [http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/anisakiasis/faqs.html] is a possibility, but the parasite is killed by freezing, and many of the sushi/sashimi fish are likely frozen for storage/shipping.
