I bought a 54 cal renegade in 1998, it is still about all I have hunted deer with. Squirrel with a 32. Though I own other calibers; I dreamed one day of hunting elk with a 54 and at the time it was supposedly balistically superior, I am not sure I buy that totally but..... I need to spend time with the other guns I own....

Well I got some parts ordered. I went with TOTW's kit with a .54. I'll keep you posted on progress, thanks to all.
