Earlier this month my wife's girlfriend called from Georgia asking if I would be interested in 2 revolvers. That was a very strange question from a porcelain hoarder but I said sure if they are not ceramic made I will get them. As it turned out first weekend of May our lady bought a chest for $25 with some dishes in it at a local garage sale. Back home she took out dishes and started to clean the chest when she discovered another secret compartment with 2 civil war revolvers in it ...... inside the main compartment there's a latch that you have to pull in order for lower compartment to open.
I obtained both revolvers and a chest and a dishes from her, story comes for free :)

Could I impose on you to see if the arbor actually is fitted tight to the end of the arbor well ? I'm told all original Colts were fit up tight to the well bottom and this would be a good candidate to see if it is true.
arbor fitment is fantastic, btw it's all matching # including wedge
