I partizipate in competition shooting in the "Rheinische Schützenbund RSB" within the "Deutsche Schützenbund DSB".
There is furthermore the
"Bund Deutscher Schützen BDS", the
"Bund Deutscher Militär- und Polizeischützen BDMP" and the
"Schwarzpulverinitiative SPI" offering competition in bp.
We shoot according to the MLAIC rules with some national modifications.
The rules can be obtained for free at http://www.dsb.de/sportordnung/. Registration necessary. Unfortunately to most, only in German. :hmm:
There is no difference between original and replica. I can't remember that I have seen anybody shooting with an original.
Most decisive difference is the number of shots and time.
International rule, 13 shots in 30 minutes the best ten shots count.
National:
10 minutes practice shots as many as you wish and can do within ten minutes.
15 shots in competion, all count time 40 minutes.
Target ist the ISSF 25 / 50 m target, ten ring 50mm (1.97"), 7 ring 200m (7.87") white 1 500mm (19,69").
I have taken some of my better results. There are others which are worse. 105 rings with 15 shots, all hit the 7 ring around the center. [strike]nono word.[/strike]
distence 25m. All offhand.
flintlock caliber .44 can be like that:
20 grain FFFg CH NR. 2 with a .440 ball and .10 patch
percussion caliber .31 pistol
10 grain FFFg CH NR.2 .307 ball, .10 patch
revolver caliber .44
10 grain FFFg CH NR.2 15 grain semolina, .457 ball and on top green greas or something similar like valve grease for "Bierhaehne", "lebensmittelecht" food genuine ?
With the revolver, I am worst. I have difficulties with the Front sight. Will make some new ones with different hight. And may be I go back to 15 grain CH NR. 2.
This might go to flintlock rifle but would be a sort of double post and therefore placed here:
flintlock Pennsylvania Carbine caliber .44
distance 50m offhand
30 grain CH Nr. 2, .44 ball, patch .10
Since 2003 we must shoot according to officially rules in writing, approved and accepted by a federal agency.
No simple shooting at targets like the I have already seen here.
