Current projects......

Well, between all sorts of legal crap and making sure Olie has his seat belt fastened.....I have been making some good use of my time!

I've been puttering around with a few things, among them is my daughter's rifle. here is where I am at with it:

I haven't put the triggers in yet, and I want to get the left side of the rifle somewhat shaped out.

Here is the rifle with a project sent to me by Olie:

The other rifle is a roundball bench gun. Olie made the underhammer action, the barrel is a Green Mountain 50 caliber and the stock is a block of walnut with a recoil pad. My job is to shape the stock so that it can be shot off the bench. A fella by the name of T.L. Oakes put the nipple in and trued up the barrel to the action.

Her gun will come around and look good.....now just remember: this will be nothing compared to Mike Brook's work! (or Fat Dutchman) and there will be no Zonnie inlays all over the stock (just kidding!)

It'll just be a nice plain little rifle that I hope she'll enjoy!

Doodling aside (stunning though it is, no, really), it's nice you would go through the trouble for her... I'd sure appreciate it. :thumbsup:

Speaking of which: In the Blahville Daily Times, there was an article about a mass grave being found. There were 10 bodies found in the grave and autopsies determined there identities. They were all lawyers!

The article stated that this "was a good start" to solving most problems. :haha:
