Any suggestions on a company that makes a set of good custom grips for a current production Uberti Remington Army revolver in .44? I would like to add a little personal touch to a fine gun! Preferably with no fitting involved. Anyone with pictures of the same on their guns is appreciated.

They handle Ajax, Eagle and J&J

All Colt clones will need extensive fitting.

Only pic I have of my Cimarron Clone with Ajax stag.

Gregg over at Dixon's told me that Uberti wheelguns' stocks are made "on the frame". Lots of grinding and no two are exactly alike :( . I had inquired about getting a set of grips for my Walker a couple weeks ago and Gregg gave me the bad news :( . Hope this helps, :v , Dave

Norseman,

You will find nice made grips for your Remmy here. Uberti is producing custom grips (fake ivory), too, but they are much expensive than complete new gun with original walnut grips. But than again you can order (special order only) from Uberti real ivory or silver grips priced arround $1000 or more.
