This is a CVA 45 caliber Kentucky rifle. I acquired this as a kit sometime ago and just recently put it together. This rifle has a 33 and 1/2 in Barrel with a 1 in 66 twist.

The bore is excellent. This rifle is a very good shooter. See the attached Target that I recently shot with my old cataract written eyes. The high right shot I believe was because of clean Barrel but it could also be because of my vision. This is an excellent rifle for an experienced Muzzleloader shooter or for a new beginner. This rifle would be adequate for deer where it's legal. Unfortunately not legal in my state for big game when shot with a round ball. This is a round ball gun you should not expect to shoot conicals in this rifle.

The ramrod that came with the kit is not great. I will be making a hickory rod to be included.

$300 plus shipping actual cost to your ZIP.

Happy to answer all questions thanks for looking.

I hate that gun! In the 80s a good friend had one and he kicked my butt in competition matches.

They are excellent shooting rifles, think what you could do if you put a set trigger in it. 10X,10X,10X! Also read the guidelines,#23 in particular
