I know I know but this wasn’t my fault. Loaned it to a buddy who got a rod stuck in it while cleaning(he got a firm talking to but can’t answer how he managed and I don’t want to know). I’ve fought it for a few months and can’t free it but I’m a weakling. I’m tired of looking at it and I’m sure someone could blow it out or pull it but I’m not that guy. I tried everything I could short of a tractor pull. A beautiful rifle though and shot true for me. Rifling was solid on both barrels and fine on the one I can see but can’t speak on the stuck barrel. Recoil pad. Beautiful gun. No rust visible. Did I mention a free range rod not sure what to ask but I’ll try $450 for it shipped.

if you can ship it with the rod sticking out, the more the better. if you need to cut the rod to fit shipping please leave me as much sticking out as possible.
i am fine with the barrels being dismounted for shipping.

The old button jag with too big of a patch? Vice it up, hook it to the hitch on your 4WD truck and yank it out. No, just kidding, but I do know about getting a jag stuck.

It sounds foolish, but I put my rifle on the other side of a door, and cleaning rod extended through the space between the door and hinge. Then I went to the other side, laid down on the floor, bent legs like a frog, grabbed end of cleaning rod with a pair of pliers, straightened legs and it came right out. I had been fighting it for weeks.

I suppose i will employ most of the myriad of methods that have been brought up in this forum.
having had to pull more than a few calves over the years i have some experience. Hopefully the extraction will be less painful for all involved. i will post the surgery blow by blow!
can't wait to get my grubbies on it!
