Fixin to get a musket at some point and drop is important to me. In percussion guns I have difficulty with shooting the British minie rifle muskets. Like shooting a 2x4. the US and Austrian guns fit me quite well.The Bess looks rather straight. the Fusil de chasse looks like you need to put your chin on the stock from the pictures. French Charlville I don't know. Shot a few rounds through the Bess maybe 45 years ago and don't remember. The other 2 I'v never even held. Want something that may have been around maybe 1775-6, not nesesarily by regular troops. Thanks for looking, Jaeger
 
I have a "sort of generic" early American fowler. It was built by Matt Avance at TVM(uzzleloading). Matt is always happy to talk with you over the phone, and should be able to offer suggestions.
